AqiMeta (“AqiMeta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a controlled workflow for authorized business users to reuse supported advertising structures, select creative assets, and create paused advertising objects. This Privacy Policy describes the information processed through the AqiMeta website, Chrome extension, and related service APIs.
1. Scope and roles
This policy applies to visitors to www.aqimeta.com and approved users of the AqiMeta service. It does not replace the privacy terms of third-party advertising platforms, browsers, or websites.
For account, security, support, and service administration information, AqiMeta generally acts as a controller. When we process advertising assets and configuration on an authorized business user's instructions, our role may depend on the applicable agreement and law.
2. Information we process
Account and contact information
We may process account identifiers, email address, telephone number where provided, authentication records, account status, support communications, and service preferences.
Authorized platform information
When you connect an account, we may process your platform user identifier, display name, profile image URL, granted permissions, token status, advertising accounts, Pages, Pixels, Businesses, and related asset identifiers made available through the authorization.
Advertising workflow information
We process source object identifiers, supported campaign and ad set configuration, Page and Pixel mappings, template snapshots, creative metadata, object counts, publish-task status, returned remote object identifiers, and errors needed to perform and explain the requested workflow.
Creative files and metadata
Local images selected by a user are transmitted for validation and forwarding to the selected advertising account. Original files are not intended to become a permanent AqiMeta cross-account media library. We may retain necessary metadata such as file name, MIME type, dimensions, size, checksum, account-scoped media identifier, upload result, and task association.
Technical and audit information
We may process IP address, browser and extension version, request identifiers, timestamps, authentication activity, API operation names, response status, error codes, task events, and security logs. We do not intentionally log passwords, full access tokens, or application secrets.
3. Sources of information
Information comes directly from you, from the AqiMeta extension and service as you use them, from the advertising platform after your authorization, and from service providers that support hosting, security, communications, and operations.
4. How we use information
- Authenticate approved users and maintain account security.
- Generate authorization links, validate permissions, and synchronize authorized assets.
- Extract supported templates, validate target mappings, and calculate requested object counts.
- Forward selected creative files and submit controlled creation tasks.
- Display task progress, support safe retries, and reconcile uncertain remote outcomes.
- Provide support, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- Maintain and improve the reliability and usability of the service.
5. Legal bases
Depending on your location and the processing activity, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
6. Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with the advertising platform at your direction, infrastructure and security providers, professional advisers, and authorities where legally required. Providers may process information only for defined service purposes and subject to appropriate contractual obligations.
We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable notice and protection requirements.
7. International transfers
AqiMeta and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards designed to protect transferred information.
8. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including active account use, task recovery, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type and contractual requirement.
You may disconnect an authorized account and submit a deletion request through our Data Deletion page. Limited records may remain where retention is required for security, legal compliance, or documentation of the request.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including access controls, encrypted transport, protected server-side credentials, environment separation, logging controls, and task-level ownership checks. No system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.
Submit privacy requests to privacy@aqimeta.com.
11. Website technologies
The public AqiMeta website is designed to operate as a static information site and does not currently use advertising cookies. Essential delivery, security, and network logs may still be generated by hosting or content-delivery providers. If analytics or additional cookies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before use.
12. Children
AqiMeta is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to AqiMeta.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service notice where required.
